Managing Event Administrators

Invite other administrators to help manage your event, and remove access when needed.

Event administrators are other TourneySpace users you allow to help manage your event. They get the same management access as you (adding divisions, teams, schedules, sponsors, media, and more) — the only thing they can't do is invite or remove other administrators; that stays limited to you, the event owner.

What You'll Need

  • The person you're inviting must already have (or create) a free TourneySpace account
  • A way to send them the invite code or QR code (text, email, or showing them your screen)

Inviting an Administrator

  1. 1

Go to your event's Event Admins page

  2. 2

    Click "Create Invite"

  3. 3

    Label and generate the invite

Enter a short label to help you remember who the invite is for (e.g., "Brent Smith Invite"), then click "Generate Invite."

  4. 4

Share the invite code or QR code

You'll receive a one-time invite code and QR code. Share it with the person you're inviting.

  5. 5

    They redeem the invite

The invitee logs into their own TourneySpace account, goes to "Join Event," and either types in the code or scans the QR code.

  6. 6

    They're added immediately

Once submitted, they're immediately added as an administrator on your event — no separate approval step is needed from you. They'll now see the event under "Shared With Me" in their account.

Each invite code can only be used once. Until someone redeems it, it appears under "Pending Invites" on the Event Admins page, and you can delete it if you no longer want it to be used.

Removing an Administrator

  1. 1

Go to your event's Event Admins page

  2. 2

    Find the person

Under "Event Administrators" (or the invite under "Pending Invites" if it hasn't been used yet).

  3. 3

Click the delete/remove button next to their name

  4. 4

    Confirm the removal

Their access is revoked immediately — they'll no longer be able to view or manage the event.
